]]> Yesterday the Federal Government announced that councils in Reid will receive over $4.8 million under the Roads to Recovery programme for local road construction and street repairs to ensure roads are safe and to create better access across our community.

The breakdown of funding per council is as follows:
Auburn City Council $1,700,350
City of Canada Bay Council $1,690,159
Strathfield Municipal Council $765,397
Burwood Council $706,616

The Roads to Recovery programme enables councils in prioritising roads funding to invest in the infrastructure which keeps our drivers safe whilst strengthening economic growth.
