Reid Student Advisory Panel meeting at Strathfield Girls

Productive discussion today with the Reid Student Advisory Panel consulting our student leaders on the issues important to make our community a better place and how we can address them.

The more time I spend with year 11 and 12 students in Reid, the better I think this country’s future will be.

I’m excited to see where the Panel’s journey will take us – stay tuned!!

‘Give What You’ve Got Campaign’

Congratulations to Shayini Velauthampillai, Shoumia Nithiananthan and Tuba Muzzaffar for running the ‘Give What You’ve Got Campaign’ aimed at raising social awareness and reaching out to young homeless people.

This is a very worthwhile cause and I am tremendously impressed by the effort that has been put in by the students to contribute towards alleviating the issues they feel passionate about.

Well done to Strathfield Girls High School for raising the most money and to Homebush Boys High School for collecting the most clothing.

You guys rock!!
