Productive discussion today with the Reid Student Advisory Panel consulting our student leaders on the issues important to make our community a better place and how we can address them.

The more time I spend with year 11 and 12 students in Reid, the better I think this country’s future will be.

I’m excited to see where the Panel’s journey will take us – stay tuned!!

Second meeting of the Reid Student Advisory Panel

After meeting for the first time in August, this week we held the second meeting of the Reid Student Advisory Panel.

The panel, comprised of school prefects from within Reid, is a unique opportunity for students to regularly discuss the relevant issues affecting the youth of today in an open and supportive environment and to develop workable solutions within our local community.I have a few ideas in store for the panel, but it’s these guys that set the agenda. Stay tuned to see where our journey takes us…
