Today marks 98 years since the Armistice that ended the First World War.

On Remembrance Day we honour more than 102,000 Australians who have died serving our country

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.’

Remembrance Day 2015: We will remember them

97 years ago the guns fell silent on the Western Front after a war which lasted over 4 years. Today, we pay tribute to all Australians who died or suffered as a result of Australia’s involvement in all wars and armed conflicts. These brave men and women lost their lives fighting to protect this great nation. We will remember them.
