I’m eager to begin working with, and listening to, the leaders within these fields as we work towards a modernised new economy. Advances in technology are transforming every aspect of our lives and our support of innovation and science are critical to deliver future growth and prosperity.
While I am no longer the Assistant Minister for Multicultural Affairs, I will continue to passionately support multiculturalism both within Reid and Australia as a whole. Multiculturalism is such an important foundation of our society and I consider it an absolute privilege to have served as the Assistant Minister for Multicultural Affairs.
Furthermore, I welcome the appointment of Zed Seselja as the new Assistant Minister for Multicultural Affairs. Zed has tremendous experience and character – I know he’ll do well in the position and will passionately represent our multicultural communities.
It’s never been a more exciting time to be an Australian and I look forward to furthering our fantastic, world class innovative industries.
