Australian Government announces changes to GP co-payment
The Australian Government has announced that a new, optional GP co-payment will be introduced for GP services with additional protections for patients. Federal Member for Reid Craig Laundy said the Government has listened to community concern and would make changes to the proposed Medicare co-payment.
Korea FTA to take effect in 3 days
The Minister for Trade and Investment Andrew Robb has announced that Australia’s Free Trade Agreement with South Korea will enter into force on 12 December 2014. 95 New Aged Care places for Western Sydney
Craig Laundy MP was pleased to announce this week a $10 million capital grant to fund a new aged care facility to be constructed in Auburn, together with funding for 95 Residential Aged care places at the facility, worth a further $5.6 million. This funding was allocated under the 2014 Aged Care Approvals Round (ACAR).
