Transition to full NDIS roll out in Reid

Stronger Communities Programme a boost for Reid

“The Coalition Government’s new Stronger Communities Programme will provide $45 million over two years to fund small capital projects in local communities,” Mr Laundy said

“Our community will receive funding of $150,000 per year over two years, to support projects that deliver social benefits.

The Member for Reid said that under the programme eligible employers can receive up to $10,000 when they employ a mature-age job seeker who has been unemployed and on income support for six months, including the age or disability support pension.

Craig Laundy congratulates winners of inaugural Reid Community Cup: Sir Roden & Lady Cutler Foundation

Sir Roden & Lady Cutler Foundation have been awarded the inaugural Reid Community Cup, after a nail biting grand final was held on Sunday. Craig Laundy MP presented the cup to the victors following the tournament, which involved eight teams playing a 5-a-side soccer tournament throughout the day.
