I was pleased to announce yesterday that a re-elected Turnbull Government will contribute $300,000 towards works required to the church of Saint Nectarios Burwood.
The Government’s investment in the church building of St. Nectarios will help the parish community continue to undertake their magnificent work throughout the Inner West.
Our local Greek-Australian community is an outstanding example of all that is great about multicultural Australia, and there is no better example of the Greek-Australian community than the members of the Parish of St. Nectarios.
Father George Liangas and his team are continually giving to our community and I am delighted to be able to recognise their important work with this proposed federal government support.
