Bright Employment have teamed up with The Salvation Army for a fantastic initiative to offer a six week training programme for refugees and asylum seekers to brush up on their cooking skills at the Auburn Connect Community Kitchen.
The students are required to produce a three course meal everyday under the tutelage of Head Chef, Ty Bellingham. On graduation, the programme helps each student to gain employment in a commerical kitchen.
I enjoyed visiting today’s graduating class and they could definitely teach me a thing or two about cooking!!!
