The start of geotechnical investigations on the tunnel section of the WestConnex Stage One M4 East corridor commenced this week.
The delivery of WestConnex will provide more than $20 billion in economic benefits to New South Wales, create 10,000 jobs and help motorists bypass up to 52 sets of traffic lights when complete in 2023.
Charles Casuscelli RFD MP and I accompanied Assistant Minister Briggs this morning to tour the geotechnical work, a major milestone in this project.
