More than 40 young leaders from refugee and migrant backgrounds have taken part in the Multicultural Youth Advocacy Network’s FUSE Summit at the GIANTS’ Learning Life Centre at Sydney Olympic Park.
Australia’s first ever multicultural youth summit could not have been given a more appropriate setting than in the electorate of Reid, where we live and breathe multiculturalism.
I felt tremendously humbled by the passion and enthusiasm the young delegates showed in trying to make Australia a better place, despite the many challenges they themselves have faced.
