I have the honour of being the MP to one of Australia’s most multicultural seats.
As of the 2011 census, over half of homes in Reid speak a language other than English. The role multicultural media plays, as a result, is vital.
I thank the Prime Minister for joining me at our first multicultural press conference and for taking and answering questions from journalists that reflect the cultural diversity of Reid.
