This Christmas I’m encouraging everyone in Reid to join me and Shop Local.
When we spend in the local economy, the money generally stays in the community with wages and profits being spent locally as well.
Just as importantly, shopping local means more jobs for local workers.Small businesses provide more than four million jobs across the country. We need to encourage and nurture small business men and women because they are taking risks. They are providing employment opportunities for others within our towns and cities.
