World Mental Health Day/Mental Health Week 2016

Mental Health

Today is World Mental Health Day and marks the start of Mental Health Week.

It’s important for all of us, whatever our background, age or circumstances, to help each other to identify mental health issues and seek support.

Mental illness can have an enormous and tragic impact, not only on individuals, but right across the community. While mental illness does not discriminate, it is a fact that 75 per cent of all mental illness manifests itself in people under the age of 25.

If you, or someone you know isn’t feeling right, please speak with someone or call Beyond Blue on 1300 224 636 – available 24/7.
